COSTA RICA – Luxury wellness boutique resort The Retreat Costa Rica perched on a high vibrational crystal mountain in Atenas has created a “Five Senses” package to celebrate its fifth anniversary on May 1. The five-night package is available throughout 2021 and is fully packed with on-site activities to stimulate the senses. In addition to the special revitalizing and exciting experiences included in this new package, guests will enjoy the new enhancements The Retreat Costa Rica made during the recent border closure.

Five Senses Package

Reconnecting with nature and stimulating all its sensual glories, this package delivers six days/five nights filled with awakening and satisfying the five senses. Taste: guests can taste delicious and healthy cuisine while learning to prepare it. Touch: visitors will experience the magnificence of The Retreat Costa Rica’s healing crystal scrub spa treatments. Sight: Seeing beyond the colorful natural surroundings and wildlife and immersing in a Chromotherapy Mineral Bath encourage guests to absorb the healing properties of color. Sound: bath treatments that ignite the cells to dance and reorganize parasympathetic nerves will promote calm and peace. Smell: organic teas can be sampled at a unique rare tea tasting event with the resort’s executive chef.

Guests are now greeted on arrival at the new “Crystal Room” with its healing energy. Guestrooms are refreshed with new paint, furnishings, décor and enhanced patios. The signature pool now has a 1,000-square-foot deck near the mountain’s edge with new deck furniture, and a pergola has been added. There’s also a new curtain pavilion with new outdoor seating at the Yoga House. The Retreat has added a conference room, as well as the Galana Boutique filled with global special finds.

Importantly, as travel to The Retreat has been certified by the Costa Rica Health Ministry for meeting COVID-19 guidelines, the resort ensures the safety and wellness of all its guests and employees with safety protocols and access to COVID-19 PCR and rapid testing.
